Two hours of exclusive treatment time will be reserved for you when you book your first visit, although you may complete your appointment in less time than this. Please call or text our office when you arrive. You will receive a link in your confirmation text that you can use to let us know you are here. Once you have checked in , your board certified hygienist or dental team member will welcome you at the door.
What To Expect At Your First Visit
The following is how we make sure patients are off to a great start when they begin treatment at our practice:
- Thorough review of your general and oral health history
- A review of your existing radiographs and scans (we will take new radiographs if you have no images, or if there are issues with the ones you have)
- Periodontal charting, including tissue measurements, to evaluate gum health
- Oral cancer screening with VELscope
- Digital dental scans using CEREC technology
Next steps are determined by your dental history and evaluation. Some patients will have their teeth cleaned as part of their first appointment, but you may require something different. We will recommend any needed services and are happy to answer questions during your appointment.
When you schedule your appointment, we will ask that your dental records be transferred so that we can provide a timely review. Please provide all relevant information so that we can reach out to your previous caregiver.
