It’s not everyday you get to adopt a shelf but that’s just what we have had the privilege of doing at Oxford Orion FISH Pantry. If you are not familiar with this pantry that serves families in need, we are happy to introduce you! We are equally excited to discuss our participation and to explain how interested patients can become involved with this community outreach.
What Is Oxford Orion FISH Pantry?
The food pantry is a local group of volunteers, supported by our community, that provides grocery items (and more) for those in need. Fortunately, the lives of thousands of households are helped on an annual basis, whether that means they receive holiday dinners, emergency groceries, or other forms of assistance. If you or someone you know is in need, help is a phone call away at (248) 628-3933.
About Our Shelf
An exciting program at the FISH pantry is Adopt-A-Shelf. Individuals, businesses, and even dental practices are invited to adopt a shelf, to decorate it, and see that the shelf is stocked with a particular type of item. You might not be surprised to learn that our adopted shelf is full of toothbrushes and toothpaste! We thank our office manager Rosmond and her friend for keeping the shelf looking lovely and full of the dental hygiene products everyone needs.
