Now that we’ve made our way into spring, it’s time to take a look at the social calendar for the warmer days ahead! After all, there are a lot of exciting times to enjoy and memories to be made (what with Easter soon to make its arrival and the relaxing days of summer that are nearly upon us). Bunny Bop
Mark your calendars for the Bunny Bop! This annual event will give you and your kids (ages one through eight) the chance to have an extremely enjoyable Easter by taking part in all the fun traditions you expect: Hunting for eggs, enjoying candy, making arts and crafts, and more. The details you need follow:
- The event happens on April 1, 2017
- Two time slots are available: 10:00am to 11:00am; 11:30am to 12:30pm
- The cost is $10 per child (parents and babies enter free)
- The venue is the Orion Center
Community Green Up
Perhaps you’re someone who has some very strong feeling about doing all that you can to protect our planet. If so, spend Earth Day with the community for this fun event (which will include improving the plant life in our town). Remember the following:
- The event happens on April 22, 2017
- The time of the event is 8:00am to 12:00pm
- This is a volunteer event
- You will meet other volunteers at Alberici Lodge, Camp Agawam
Youth Fishing Derby Day
Remember fishing as a child? Pass on the joy to your little ones (ages one to 15) with this fun event, which will see your children supplied with everything they need to fish. Don’t forget:
- The event happens on June 3, 2017
- The time of the event is 10:00am to 12:00pm
- This is a free event
- The fishing takes place at Camp Agawam
- You’ll need to register beforehand
